Custom 6ft Upholstered Headboards – For Super King Size Beds (180cm / 1800mm / 72")
Our collection of 6ft super king upholstered headboards is handmade in our Berkhamsted UK workshop, offering premium materials, tailored sizing and true craftsmanship. Designed for UK super king beds (1800mm x 2000mm), these headboards combine statement design with practical comfort.
Each headboard is produced to a standard width of 1826mm (72 inches / 180cm), offering a slight overhang around the mattress for a refined and elegant finish. If you prefer a headboard that fits exactly to your super king bed base, we can also make it to a precise 1800mm width on request.
You can choose from over 30 headboard designs, including contemporary, traditional, and shaped styles. Finishes range from plain padded and buttoned to piped or panelled/fluted styles. We also offer flexible height options to suit your room, from minimalist low-rise designs to full-height luxury features.
Mounting options include bed mounting via headboard struts, wall mounting, or floor standing headboards. Super king headboards are typically supplied with four struts: two located 12 inches either side of centre, and two positioned a further 24 inches outward for additional stability and support across the wider frame.
Each piece is handcrafted and upholstered using premium fabrics, selected from our range of over 150 upholstery options including natural linen, classic wool, and luxury velvet. If you already have your own fabric, we are happy to use it. You can also order free fabric swatches to help you choose the perfect material and colour.
To complete the look, we also offer 6ft upholstered bed frames to fit UK super king mattresses (1800mm x 2000mm), finished in matching fabric for a cohesive and custom-designed aesthetic. You can also order coordinating bed valances (bed skirts) for a fully dressed bed base.
