Discover our collection of handcrafted small single bed frames, ideal for compact bedrooms, children’s rooms, or guest spaces. Designed and made in our Berkhamsted workshop, these 75cm (750mm) wide upholstered bed frames are built to order and fully customisable in size, finish, and functionality.
Our small single beds are tailored to fit a standard UK small single mattress measuring 750mm x 1900mm (2ft 6 x 6ft 3). We also offer a long version (750mm x 2000mm), ideal for taller sleepers or specialist needs. Two long small single beds can be used as a zip and link combination to create a versatile UK King Size bed (1500mm x 2000mm) — perfect for guest rooms or shared sleeping spaces.
We Build the Frame & the Slatted Base
Unlike many suppliers, we not only upholster the bed frame, we also manufacture the slatted bed base in-house. This gives you full flexibility to choose your ideal sleep system, including:
Premium Beech Sprung Slats – available with firmness adjusters and lumbar zone flexibility
Solid Bed Boards – for a firmer, more supportive sleeping surface
Electric Adjustable Slats – for comfort, medical use, or zero-gravity reclining
All bed bases are crafted in collaboration with The Bed Slats Workshop, the UK’s leading slatted bed technology specialist.
