Often, going through a local council or an independent source can cost you more money than is necessary but it may be a better option if you want to have a clear conscience when you dispose of your bed.

This is quite a popular option so long as the bed is in a decent enough condition. Obviously, if you’re chucking out a used bed, you’ll be looking to buy a new one anyway, so why not kill two birds with one stone and save yourself a whole lot of time, effort and money.
